Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Image To 3D, an online AI service that turns a photo or illustration into a usable 3D model. You upload a reference picture, the system reads shape, edges, and surface detail from that view, and you can preview, refine, and export meshes for games, 3D printing, product design, classroom projects, and related workflows. By accessing or using our service at imageto3d.im, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, please do not use the service.

Use of the Service

Image To 3D provides tools to upload reference images, optionally describe objects for text-to-3D generation, choose processing options (such as textured mesh or geometry-only output), preview AI-generated 3D models, and download exports (including GLB files) for use in tools such as Blender, Unity, Unreal, slicers, and other 3D viewers. The service is intended to create 3D geometry and surface detail from your inputs—not to replace professional CAD, legal metrology, or safety-critical engineering workflows without your own verification. You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

User Accounts and Registration

1. Account Creation: To access certain features or usage tiers, you may need to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

1. Your Images, Prompts, and Outputs:

   • Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your plan, Image To 3D grants you a licence to use the outputs ("Generated Models") produced from your inputs for your lawful business and personal purposes. Licence scope may vary by plan.
   • You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload reference content, to use text prompts you provide, and to use Generated Models (including for games, printing, product previews, marketing, and client work) as intended.
   • Image To 3D maintains all rights to the platform, underlying technology integrations, and service infrastructure used to deliver the service.

2. Platform Technology:

   • The Image To 3D platform, including its software, interfaces, and infrastructure, is the property of Image To 3D and its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
   • The operator of Image To 3D is imageto3d.im.
   • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying systems of our service, unless laws prohibit these restrictions or you have our written permission.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following while using Image To 3D:

• Uploading or processing content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, or other intellectual-property rights.
• Using the service to create or distribute models intended to facilitate fraud, counterfeiting, or misrepresentation of real products, people, or official items without authorisation.

• Using the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

Acceptable Use and Content Guidelines

1. Content Restrictions & Prohibited Categories:

   We strictly prohibit the upload or processing of the following (Zero Tolerance):

   • Sexual / NSFW Content: Adult content, nudity, or pornography where prohibited by law or our policies.
   • Violence / Gore: Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting harm.
   • Hate Speech: Content that promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence against specific groups.
   • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors. Submitting such content will result in immediate termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
   • Deepfakes / Impersonation: Non-consensual deepfakes or content designed to impersonate real individuals to deceive others.
   • Copyright / Trademark Infringement: Content that violates intellectual property rights.

   • Do not upload materials that are illegal, hateful, harassing, abusive, or promote discrimination.
   • Do not use Generated Models to deceive, defraud, or mislead others (including passing off unlicensed replicas as genuine branded goods).
   • Ensure your uploads do not infringe on the rights of any third party, including people, brands, and products depicted in your reference images.

2. Usage Limits & Quality:

   • Image-to-3D, text-to-3D, and export features are subject to plan limits, credit availability, fair-use policies, and technical constraints (such as image size, complexity, or output mode on certain tiers).
   • Output quality, mesh topology, texture fidelity, available features, and processing speed may vary based on your plan, reference image clarity, subject complexity, and system load. You should review previews and exports before production use, especially for printing, manufacturing, or commercial release.

Content Moderation and Enforcement

To maintain a safe environment, Image To 3D may use content moderation measures:

1. Content Moderation Mechanism:

   • Automated Filtering: Uploads, prompts, and outputs may be scanned by automated safety filters to detect and block prohibited content.

AI-generated 3D results can vary based on reference image quality, lighting, occlusion, subject type, and technology limits. Image To 3D does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation, or that every model will be print-ready, dimensionally accurate, or fit for a particular commercial or safety-critical use without your own review and testing.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Image To 3D, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, third-party conduct, content obtained from the service, or unauthorised access to your account or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or other legal theory.
